Baltex unveils updated brand

Ilkeston, UK: Baltex, the home of technical textile innovation, will unveil a new look, updated communications and impressive innovations at this year’s Techtextil.

Baltex is a specialist provider of knitted textiles serving highly-technical, highly-specified markets including aerospace, medical, military, automotive and composites. Since 1831, the family-owned business has designed and delivered precision fabrics, often winning awards for its culture and products.

Now, after a hugely successful year of growth, Baltex has invested in its strategic direction and communications, resulting in an updated brand look which fully reflects the cutting-edge nature of its textile innovations.

The brand refresh includes an updated logo, new brand colours, and a variety of updates to brochures, corporate communications and other brand touchpoints. The company has also developed a new vision and mission and has worked on a dynamic new stand for Techtextil.

Charles Wood, Baltex MD, said: “We’ve had a fantastic year with vast growth, new clients, new hires and investment in new machinery, plus some incredible innovations developed in partnership with our customers.

“As such, we felt it was time to update our logo and colours to fully reflect our leading market positions and track record at the pinnacle of textiles science.

“The new look pays homage to our past while looking forward to the future; truly reflecting the modern, creative, precision-fabrics business we are.”

Several photoshoots were commissioned as part of the brand refresh, and interviews with Baltex personnel will soon be shared on Baltex’s website and social media

Charles said: “Our people are the main reason for our success. We want to share their stories because they are the ones who make Baltex great.”
